Our Work With Donkeys
Most of the donkeys at the farm joined us because their owners could no longer look after them. For some, we provide a refuge — space and time to learn new skills and trust people again.
Our training programme identifies areas of need so we can improve each donkey’s life, and often helps them find new homes in the community or stay with us at Snowdonia Donkeys.
These donkeys needed urgent hoof care when they arrived. Their training plan includes learning to trust people and to lift their feet for trimming.
Megan is now confident enough to walk around the farm with some of our volunteers.
